Our week in a nutshell? Busy. A lot of eating out last week and the house is a wreck but.....
Monday- food prep for a potluck at mom's work on Wednesday
Tuesday- finish food prep, head to softball fields for softball practice and snack bar duty for mom
Wednesday- softball game. I pitched again and held my own
Thursday- frantic work on a power point State project for school
Friday- dad out of town for mountain bike race, me another softball game at 8PM way the heck across town
Saturday- trying to uncover our counter top after a week of piling stuff on it, more food prep for ANOTHER work event, get summer camp schedule started, run a few errands we didn't have time for during the week, meet Audrey and Madeline for dinner. Madeline got to spend the night so that was fun! We slept in the living room in a fort we built.
Sunday- finish summer camp round up, start paperwork for swim team, think about making brownies for desert and then decide we would rather sit down and read for a bit, try to pick up the house so we can walk in a straight line from the kitchen to the bedrooms, go buy me a swim suit and new swim fins, head to the driving range to swing at and miss more golf balls, make dinner, go to bed.
And that is our week in a nutshell- we'll see how this week goes!
P.S.- dad did well in mountain bike race finishing 143 out of 645 in sleet and wind after having slept on a floor the night before. Impressive!
