Back to the Grind

Deep sigh......
It is soooooo hard to be done with vacation.  There were a few droopy faces and grumpy moods around here this week.  On the positive side, the week went pretty fast.
The only thing on my agenda was swimming lessons- I had my group lesson on Monday and then my final private lesson with Ms. Suzy on Wednesday.  She is super excited about me trying out for the swim team but mom is a little nervous about it.  Mom went to a meeting the night before we left on vacation and there were a bunch of hard core swim moms there and it scared her.  Ms. Suzy calmed her down some, told her those were the crazy moms and their kids won't be in my league.  I hope not- we don't do "crazy" very well.
Soccer practice was cancelled on Tuesday due to rain and cold.  It was 80 degrees in Tucson that day.  Not that we are keeping track or anything.

The rest of the week was pretty quiet as was our weekend.  It was a little strange to be at home with no plans after our whirlwind trip but it was definitely nice.
On Sunday,  I had a make up soccer game.  The original game was cancelled due to snow.  This was when we were in Tucson and it was 75 degrees.  Not that we were keeping track or anything.
This was my first soccer game of the season and I did OK.  Even though we lost, the team is looking pretty good with some new, aggressive, coordinated players.  Should be a fun season to watch!

That's it for this week from the exciting world of me- we'll see you next Sunday.
